NEW YORK — The NYPD is searching for a man accused of pepper-spraying two teens in an unprovoked attack on a Manhattan street last week.
At approximately 9:50 p.m. on Tuesday, June 1, a 19-year-old girl and an 18-year-old boy were approached by the suspect who pepper-sprayed the victims in the face in front of 108 8th Avenue in Chelsea, according to police.
The suspect then fled northbound on 8th Avenue.
Both victims sustained redness and swelling to the eyes and were treated by EMS at the scene.
